Christopher Adams

Playwright, screenwriter, academic

Christopher Adams is a playwright and screenwriter. He is also a PhD student at the Institute of English Studies, School of Advanced Study, University of London. He works on the publishing history of queer fiction in Britain after the second world war. He examines how and why queer books were published in an era in which homosexuality was criminalised and deemed obscene. In addition to his writing and research activities, he collects books and manuscripts related to postwar queer writers.
